Our custom window clings are made from a clear transparent vinyl. The material itself is a non-adhesive window cling signage option. This means it contains no adhesive glues which allows for easy installation, removal, and reuse. Instead, these custom clings adhere to the surface of the window due to the vinyl working like mini-suction cups.
While both our window clings and window decals are made from a vinyl material, window clings do not contain any adhesive glues. Most decals (except clear window decals) use an adhesive backing to stick to the glass surface.
We do not recommend clings be used on the exterior of any type of vehicle. They are not designed to be placed on cars and will fly off your vehicle if placed on it. We recommend our car decals or magnets for car signage.

When you first open up the Cricut Design Space template from the supply list above, duplicate the snowflake group until you have the amount you want to make. Keep in mind that you can fit 3-4 snowflakes per 1212 piece of frosted window cling vinyl. I used 3 rolls of window cling, which made 12 sheets of snowflakes.

The snowflakes were a little more difficult to peel off than the ladybug window clings, just because they have so many fine edges. If you have trouble, just take them out into the cold weather, or put them in the fridge for a few minutes, and they peel right off.
One of the party guests suggested we could use up the paint by making window clings. Turns out, if you paint designs on wax paper using fabric paint, once dry you can peel them off and stick them to the window!
Step 8. Place your decals close together on the outsides of your windows. Birds see small spaces as room to fly through, so the gaps should be no more than 2-4 inches. For puff paint clings, attach the flat side to the window. For homemade glue clings, attach the non-colored side to the window.
Remember, static window clings can be printed to display the graphic on either the inside or the outside of your windows. Make sure to mention if you would like your order printed with either front or back adhesive.

Super clings are kind of like vinyl stickers and can be used outdoors or indoors but do not have adheisve and are removable and reusable like traditional staqtic clings. Because traditional static clings are intended for interior windows and mirrors only they do not work very well as car window clings with window tinting or glare from the sun. Instead, you might find our super clings useful because you can apply them to the outside of your car windows and without worry of window tint or sun glare. Both options are good options for removable window clings.
Custom static clings are traditionally intended for indoor use however we also provide a Super Cling option that allows you to apply it outdoors as well. For car window clings select the Super Cling option unless you plan to apply them to the inside of the window. Window clings are non-adhesive graphics used for marketing and self promotion.
